“Do you accept insurance assignment?”

“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
“Do you offer payment plans?”
Many funeral homes allow you to spread the cost over time. Ask about down payments, terms, and financing options.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

I was lied too, I am very upset with this place, how could you tell me that the Autopsy was taking longer than expected only to see on the death certificate that there was no Autopsy performed, when I specifically stated a request for one? Just like I wanted to have a viewing, was told they do not do those, when your website says that you do? As well as the numerous phone calls we made to you that were never returned. It took 3 1/2 WEEKS, for her to be creamated? This is so ridiculous, plus there was $300 I could have used towards an urn, they said they furnished a complimentary one, A Wooden box, that isn’t even real wood.
