“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“I ordered my wife’s headstone last October , it was a special design that took longer than expected to come in , I was more stressed than words could describe that it would be installed by her 1 year anniversary date . Buddy and Jennifer stayed in constant communication with me even when they had personal things in there life going on that should of took priority over a customer , but yet amazed that he still focused on his customers ! HATS OFF TO THAT MAN The stone finally made it to Keithville and mr Danny the owner worked endlessly on engraving to make the deadline of install ! Even worked through the weekend and on his own birthday to get it completed ! I am amazed at the work the artist did in the designing , she can bring absolutely any vision to life ! Install day arrives and his guys show up with most of the stone and he personally brought the other pieces and worked hand n hand with his men to make sure it was perfect ! His guys were very respectful during the whole process , then a few days later Danny and buddy personally come back to my wife’s grave to do some final touch up work ! Couldn’t have more respect for these guys , I would give 10 stars if I could and will always use and recommend them to any and everyone ! Superb service is a understatement !”
