“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“This place is horrible!!!! I ordered a beautiful memorial stone for my mother and the 2 brothers with picture on it. Decorated his gravesite really nice. 2 weeks later memorial stone and decor all gone except for some plastic flowers. Spoke to someone in the office and the woman had no answers for me and then spoke to one of the guys that work on the grounds and he too had no explanation. Few days later go back with a memorial cross with names and i never find One for mother and 2 for my brother who is also buried there. Went today and guess what?! All of the decor is gone! But not just on theirs. Almost all of the sites look the same. What the hell are these people doing?! If they doing but not just for my family i have 3 people and I m confused why only for me they throw everything not flower cross and the people who cut the grass they broke three times for the cross for my brother and they didn’t care”

“Just went to visit my grand parents and other family members at this cemetery. The grass was not cut by my grandparents and cut grass was all over it. At least I found it. My aunts grave I couldn't even locate with all the dead grass clippings on the graves. I was tired of using my foot on the graves to move the grass and read the names. Of course where they were going to have a funeral that day the area was groomed. Disgraceful .😡”
