“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“Really disappointed with their Tribute Store and website. Spent almost $300 on a floral arrangement/spray and even though the wording looked good in the review before submitting, the 2 letters with special characters became completely omitted when posted online and shared with their local florist. The Spanish letters with a tilde completely disappeared, affecting our family's surname and card. What I don't understand is how the banner on the flowers got distorted?! There were no special characters on the banner, yet it was obvious they had to fix it last minute with a marker. How does a "p" get confused with an "o"?Unfortunately, when I noticed at midnight, the night before the service, I immediately sent an email but got no response the following morning. I then tried calling as soon as I could the next morning before the service but I was told that they had no idea which of their florists to reach out to since they use many of them and the first to confirm the order gets their service. I was also told they could not edit the online Tribute wall, that they will have to reach out to their website developer for that. Then, I was told that the flowers were already at the funeral home anyway and therefore too late to make any changes.”
