“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“Losing a loved one is the worst thing to ever happen to a person. The Pisarski Family was there for me and my family every step of the way when we lost our family member. David was crystal clear on every aspect of pricing and the service specifics. He let us ask questions and provided explanations. We were able to see the family in action as David's children were also present throughout the service and the planning. We could not have gotten through this without the Pisarski Family.”

“Horrible. Losing your loved one is hard and they add trauma and pain. Texting you the sharing of information about the death your loved one. Not doing what they say they would do. Not caring when you call them on it. Not following your requests when they were part of an agreed plan. Increasing charges.adding hidden charges. They’re cold hearted thieves! Think about it, perfect scam. Your loved one dies you scatter to plan, you grieve and then some one of your team pays the final bill. Which is now higher than the first one quoted. Nobody checks. Perfect opportunity to scam the community. If you find out their dirty ways they don’t work with you. They just ignore your attempts to make contact and then the slander they throw. Run away. THEY ARE THE WORST!”

“David was professional, empathetic and willing to quickly respond to texts when I didn’t feel up to calling. You and your loved one are in great hands with him.”
