Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

She insisted we needed to get there right away or we would have to wait in the line. We get there and have to wait over 30 min. “Rats in the Chapel of the Roses A giant rat ran through the Little Chapel of the Roses during my father’s viewing. His body was in an open casket and the rat ran through the chapel while our guests were being served food. The assistant pretended not to see it. I reported this issue to the general manager Ellen Ratu and she had no comment about the rat problem. If you are planning services for a veteran do not go here. The funeral director and manager are incompetent and they don’t even know how to request the proper honors for a veteran. Once they have your money they could care less.”
