Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“My question is this: Will this be fixed by the cemetery caused by their careless groundskeepers, or will the family unfortunately come across this causing more grief concerning their loved ones' resting place and have to have it replaced out of their own pocket? So much of this happens in cemeteries so perpetual care seems lost and gone. I know accidents happen but in this case the tire marks clearly run over the marker and there was a "path" clearly in between markers already. Do they even notice when this happens to check their mistake or do they simply go on with their day leaving it for family to find?
