“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“Miller Funeral home has helped our family through some hard times. This review is inspired by Kate who helped us with all the arrangements for my grandmother’s calling hours. She was wonderful. So kind and patient and took a lot of time with us as we were doing the planning. She let us know we could take our time. Never impatient as we were trying to decide on what felt right. She also went the extra mile, literally for us, to bring my grandmother’s keepsakes from Henrietta to Victor so we wouldn’t have to figure out of town mailing. At the time of the calling hours both Kate and John were wonderful and so supportive. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because there was a little mix up with the date on the prayer cards and one of the remains portions. With the prayer cards that was especially hard because everyone had already taken cards and it was after the service when we realized they were incorrect. That said, Miller did get right on getting us what we needed with the other portion on remains and correcting the cards so at least our family could have them correctly. A lot was going on the day we were in and I can see how a mix up might happen. If it wasn’t for that I would’ve given 5+ stars. Or even 4.5 if Google would allow. Overall, thank you to Miller Funeral home. We felt supported really well at a hard time.”

When Our Priest from St Patrick's didnt show to the cemetery , Joe from Miller's said prayers over our Moms grave. We have to bury our Dad this week .
