Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.

Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“Generations of my family and friend’s families are buried at Arlington Gardens. The grounds are always well kept. The employees kind and compassionate. Recently we laid my stepfather to rest in the Mausoleum. I was not part of the planning process but my Mom and brother were. They both spoke highly of the staff and their guidance. Located in Cincinnati, they came to my parent’s house in Springboro for the initial appointment. His service was beautiful including military honors at the Mausoleum site. They allowed us to stay while the casket was placed inside and sealed off. Everything very professional. About a week after the service, we picked up the death certificates in the office. We didn’t feel rushed. Everything was correct and organized for my Mom. They have an emotional support dog (“CoCo”) who loves playing fetch. I thoroughly enjoyed playing with her. Since then, they have reached out to each of us via text, making sure we are OK and letting us know they are available if we need them.
