“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“This is a gorgeous, huge cemetery. It has always been kept up really well until recently when we went to place Mother's Day flowers. The grass was high and no maintenance had been done. We have a loved one who was cremated and placed in the Memorial Area under a large tree. It is covered with white gravel and has a large sign with all the names of the people who are there. It has a large statue with benches and a fountain in the center but currently, it isn't operating.”

“There is a large amount of theft of grave markers going on up close to the mausoleum to the left side close to the driveway. I made a report to the Sheriff’s Office this morning and the Detective instructed me to call the cemetery office as well. There was no answer but I was able to leave my name and number through voicemail.”
