“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“This church is alright. The sanctuary is very nice and anytime I've called the people on the phone are usually helpful. The only downside to this church is first of all parking. Getting into the parking lot and finding a parking place is a little difficult. The second place I would be a little critical of this Parish would be the fellowship or lack of. I am a Tallahassee local and been here most of my life. I was hoping to sort of make this like my second Parish or even my main Parish but it seems most of the church activities center around the CSU(Catholic Student Union) an organization at FSU which is only open to current students and maybe faculty. Well, I am not currently a student at FSU. I would say this is a nice parish to visit however if you are not currently an FSU student or college aged you might feel a bit left out and during the holidays while students are away they limit the number of masses and it's not even clear when or if there will be one. I really get tired of places in Tallahassee only catering to students. Local people matter too.”
