“Hartwells Christian Mortuary and Funeral home took care of the service for our baby brother. They were very professional, caring and gave him an absolutely beautiful home going ceremony. Everything that my family wanted was detailed and executed to perfection. Last minute we asked that pictures were not taken and a person from the mortuary team stood by to ensure that this did not happen. We placed special items with our brother and through shakey hands and blurred vision the team helped me and did not put up any resistance. They ensured that his clothing was perfect, they helped me place his glasses on him and stood by without complaint as I checked and double checked that everything was how my family expected it to be. They patiently helped us every step of the way. This is a hard review to write, an unexpected and painful review to write but also necessary. I am hopeful that you will not need their services, but in the event that you do, expect perfection. The pastor gave a beautiful eulogy, the service was heartbreakingly amazing and beautiful. I watched from the time our brother was pushed past me in the sanctuary before grieving family and friends arrived to the moments that he was laid to his final resting place, and he was handled with care.
