Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
“Do you offer payment plans?”
Many funeral homes allow you to spread the cost over time. Ask about down payments, terms, and financing options.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“Joyce Allen was a joy and angel to work with. My relative recently passed and because we are from out of town, we had to move quickly with decisions about cremation vs casket, etc. This business was very transparent, costs are on the website as well as shown to you upfront. They also had additional information on their website about writing an obituary, and steps in the process. They follow Nevada State Laws and have their own crematorium. They disclose everything to you so you know what is going on and when. I felt 100% comfortable and safe with them. I knew my relative would be treated with respect and dignity.”
