“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”

Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

It was heartbreaking enough and to see this terrible Arrangement that certainly didn't even come close to what they advertised, it was $120 and would have been almos $10 more except for discount added. Embarrassing beyond words to even have to take the photo during the worst time but they wouldn't even acknowledge my complaint. The Funeral Home and Service was Beautiful. Do not Recommend ordering Flowers from Avas in Hammond, Indiana.”
