“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“Where do I began?? You have Donna in there high as a kite..Doing funeral planning and can't even talk or hold Her eyes open,lips stuck together with white stuff in the cracks of her mouth..They had My Mother's Friends and Family sign in book wrong..We finally got the right book brought out then Me and My Sister goes in to be the first to see My Mother and there was lipstick and make up on Her when we requested NONE not counting they had put a bra on her and stuffed it with padding everyone knew She wasn't blessed in that area..We had the lipstick removed and I Myself took the makeup off..We had to get them to make the Prayer Card 3 different times cause there was names wrong,the pallbearers were left off and the design was wrong,they finally get them half right and when we ran out they brought the others back and put in there place..Let's go on to the actual funeral where NONE of the pallbearers had rose pins to put on till I told them to get them in the middle of My Mother's service, then as We go on to the grave site to lay My Mother to rest and the dirt wasn't even over Her yet and the man was walking around making the pallbearers which were Her GRANDCHILDREN give the pins back..I got them back..This place is a joke..We chose them for this very special day for My Mother because that's who buried My Dad..I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE and another thing not one time did any of them come out and give condolences and never was apologetic for any of the mistakes that were made..Please people do NOT waste Your money on this place..R.I.P. Shawn Chapman Your definitely missed..”

They were the nicest, most respectful, compassionate people you will ever meet in a funeral home. The day of my dads funeral I was the only one sitting in the room because I got there early & Shawn came in there and sat down and just talked to me for about 15 minutes.
