“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”

“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“If you have recently lost a loved one, I am truly sorry for your loss. If you are considering using the services at White Chapel, I would advise you to proceed with caution. While the cemetery itself is beautiful, and some of the staff are professional and caring, the service we received from April Roberts was unacceptable. Over the course of the summer, as our family member’s marker was selected, designed, and prepared for placement, April was repeatedly unprofessional and unreliable. April misrepresented products, failed to return phone calls, miscommunicated dates, allowed her voicemail inbox to become full so that messages could not be received, falsely claimed to have made a follow-up call, and failed to appear at the scheduled time to place our family member’s remains at the cemetery. I am deeply disappointed by April’s lack of professionalism and the way my family was treated. The experience with April added unnecessary stress to an already difficult time. Although we brought our concerns to the management at White Chapel, a month has passed and April has not reached out with an apology or taken any responsibility for the distress her actions caused. Even a simple gesture to make things right would have helped to show a basic standard of professionalism and accountability. It is clear that our family and our concerns were not a priority. I hope that sharing this review will help others make an informed decision.”

“Have you been to Eastlawn cemetery lately?..... I understand you own that also. Obviously you have not as you can see by the pictures of where I have 8 family members buried. I have spoken with Ben, was promised he would get a crew on it from White Chapel....in his defense he has done a small amount of clean up..... well these pictures say it all from when I was there today. This is total disrespect for every person that has been buried there!!! I don't like my family members being disrespected!! and I'm sure other families won't either!”
