“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“Beware! Please know that Caskets and More have new owners. Reviews that are older than 6 months are referring to the previous owners. NOT the same quality or service! They are Bennett's Monument Company doing business as Caskets and More. After seeing your response, let me be clear. First of all, you did provide a refund for the base. I don't know of any other options you offered. After I suggested it, you did say it could be cut down, but would change the look. Second of all, you said you did everything possible to make things right. I don't know what you did. The right thing to do would have been to correct your mistake by ordering one in the correct size and have the two swapped out. Instead, you just gave me a refund for the base and said 'We do not have the equipment to remove it from the cemetery'. Lastly, the entire problem is that I PAID you to do the job. You made a mistake (that would not have been a issue if it had been corrected), and now I have to pay someone else to correct it. I understand you do not have the equipment to remove it, but somebody does. You made this already difficult time more stressful than it should have been.”
