Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“March 2021 Update: Raised to 3 stars. My son was finally interred in his permanent resting place, and a 3 year dispute over a tree that was originally promised has been planted. I did not rate higher due to the emotional abuses I endured and the years it took to resolve issues and disputes here. I can add though, that the area he was moved to is nicer, but I will make future inspections to see that the grounds remain groomed properly. May 2019 My son was buried in the small consecrated area (for Jewish burials) within the larger non-Jewish section 18 months ago with the promise he would be moved to his permanent resting spot in the new Jewish cemetery within 3 - 4 months. We have been ignored, told half-truths and downright lies about the timeline. To make matters worse, the area he is in has not been maintained and weeds and dead grass have taken over. I have not received one satisfactory response regarding this disgraceful display. I will not recommend anyone bury their loved ones their. I will only update this assessment upon receiving satisfactory and truthful answers.”

“I had a family go to Fairway Memorial Garden’s for a funeral service a week ago. They were actual relatives of mine that share the same last name as me. I had some lots that I owned at Fairway and I offered to sell and transfer one of them to my family and they accepted. They met with the cemetery counselor Diana Cirigliano Initially they were going to use my lot that I owned prior to meeting with Diana but she told the family that she would rather they purchase the cemetery space from her so that she can make the commission, what made it worse was that she told them not to tell me. Her actions made me so upset and betrayed. I have sent numerous families to Fairway in the past and because of her actions I no longer wish to continue to refer family and friends to that location. If she is a representation of Dignity’Memorial then I no longer wish to send any referrals to any of your locations.”
