“The moment we passed through the doors of Gilbert Memorial there was a sense of welcoming that was most comforting and familiar, like coming home to a warm family embrace, even though the gathering was not one of joy, but of sorrow. The staff was compassionate and accommodating, yet seemed to be almost invisible if that were at all possible. The facilities itself were quite lovely. A service was held in the chapel and a reception followed immediately thereafter in their reception area which accommodated a large group nicely, and it had a very nice serving area as well. Our family also held a small service at the site of the grave within Gilbert Memorial's peaceful grounds. Gilbert Memorial is a beautiful setting for family and friends to pay their respects to a loved one who has crossed over. All matters were handled with dignity and care. 💙”
