“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

Not even half the pictures were shown, the programs were never passed out, my dad URN wasn't present for most of the service. They asked us to make play list that were never played, then to TOP it off.. the guy they recommended give the eulogy for my father talked about himself the entire time..it was supposed to start at 7 and they started it at 6... we had people showing up while the guy rambled on about his family and how he gets to do things with his grandchildren and kids.. the funeral director was asleep in the back row.. then they told us they wanted to go home at 715 while I tried to take a private moment to watch my dad's half ass memorial pictures. Just a train wreck.. go somewhere else!”
