Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

I was enraged when we got there at 10:30 to see a couple of the pallbearers and some complete strangers placing the casket in place! They didn't even wait for the entire family to get there and they had already started!! Completely unprofessional. I'll never get this day back and I found it extremely rude of them to proceed without the entire family being there, my wife was pulling in behind us.. If the start time is 11, then you damn well wait until 11 to start. If were told they were starting at 10:30, we would have been there at 10!!”
