Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“It was our first time working with this funeral home and decided to work with them because they are fairly close to my home. My situation was very different and I was just hoping to find someone to assist us with patience and understanding. Unfortunately, for some health matters, I was unable to attend the funeral home to make the arrangements myself, so I sent my husband to handle the matter for my dad's services.
