Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

Father passed mid June, the funeral was July 5th, had to have the funeral with no ashes, and to this day (Aug 27th and 51 days later) we still haven't been provided our love ones ashes after multiple empty promises. Also like to mention that our love one's final will and testament was to be cremated. They embombed without permission and charged the family for that, and then they charged for the cremation as well. My mother is in her 70's and is becoming more and more ill over the fact that this service have not provided our father, her husband for 37 years ashes - a service that claimed to love and care about her. At this point they won't even accept our calls or even make an attempt to provide a new empty promise. Loosing our father was already to much to bare, and now our mothers life could be potentially short lived due to unnecessary stress and strain being put on by this service. There's no question that they haven't any compassion for us or our mother. Very disappointed.”
