“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”

“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

My wife and I recently required the services of pet cremation to help us with taking care of our old, sweet girl, Maple who we had to say goodbye to on Sunday, September 29th. There are surprisingly few places in SE WI that can perform this service and was always a point of stress knowing our dog was very old and we were set on cremation. I want to thank Pagenkopf for adding this service somewhat recently. A few items we want to express additional appreciation for was answering the phone on a Sunday morning and working with us to pick up our girl's body from WVRC, which wasn't a normal vet they work with, and schedule the service without delay.
