“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“Felipe Bagues Mortuary although the prices are cheaper than other Mortuary's you get what you paid for. My husband past on 5/25/2025 and I had to intervein to get the doctor to sign off on the death for the death certificate so that we can lay him to rest finally on 6/20/2025. That was truly hard for his children and me. The day of the services, there was no room being it was a small place for anyone to fit. There was no microphone for the family to speak about my loved one. The video with the photos we paid for stopped in the middle and never turned back on. The started kicking us out fast and the employee was being rude about it. it was just not a good experience I felt, they could have been more understanding or sympatric. I won't be recommending them for sure.”

“To each their own. However MY experience with Felipe bagues was great from start to finish. My dad passed away last year and we had originally selected a different mortuary but they were too expensive and rude so we called Felipe bagues and explained to them how we felt and were wondering if we could get my father moved with them.
