Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“This cemetery used to have a lot of festive decorations. The office was friendly when I drove in when I came to visit. Gardeners aren’t friendly like they use to be. This place was well kept and clean. The water is always shut off. Most of the grass around my families sight are dead to no grass. I decorate every Christmas and go out for my family. And every year good Shepard sent out letters to limit decoration. And why are the flowers that I put out every week, they always end up on the floor? Paid a pricey grave sight and can’t put out small decorations for a celebration. It’s like they don’t want us to bury our families here.”

“I went to this cemetery and found it very peaceful. I would like to be buried in a place like this. The grass was a little overgrown, but to me it looked "wild" and "natural." I know that bothers some people, though. I find it very pretty. I also LOVED that there were so many flowers on the grave stones.
