Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

And the Fitchburg facility was perfect for our Celebration of Life event. The location is convenient and it has plenty of parking. Most importantly, its layout is great, with plenty of seating, several distinct areas so that people can meet or grieve in private, and TV monitors spread throughout the facility that they used to run a slideshow of our favorite photos of our loved one. Even the restrooms are stocked with thoughtful supplies, including anti-static sprays and lint rollers. And Gunderson helped donate our leftover food, and they also do a good job of reducing plastic waste by providing paper coffee cups, aluminum containers for leftovers, etc.”
