“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

We had some special requests which they did a beautiful job of preparing our daughter for us to say goodbye before they took her away. After we had our moment with our daughter they took her to the transport vehicle. They communicated details and next steps with thoughtful care and compassion. *First Impressions When we arrived at the East Chapel we were greeted by Heather-Caring, compassionate, empathetic. She set us at ease right away. We were immediately blown away by the facility-welcoming, bright, modern, functional, clean. *Making arrangements Heather walked us through making our arrangements step by step, answering our questions so we could make sound decisions for ourselves and our daughter. We felt totally at ease and so well cared for during this process. And Heather was as excited about our plan for honoring our daughter as we were. *Our Life Celebration When we arrived for our daughter’s Life Celebration Heather was directing everything that we had asked for including the food we ordered for our guests. She had seen to every detail, it was everything we had asked for in our arrangements. She tended to us every step of the way through our event from beginning to end. At the end she explained next steps. *Picking Up Our Ashes It was a couple of days between the Life Celebration and cremation - we received the sweetest phone call from Heather letting us know the cremation was taking place and that it was customary to light a candle during that time.(tears) we did it. A couple of days later we went to pick up our daughter’s ashes - we had prearranged to use a biscotti jar to store the ashes. Heather was so kind to get the ashes into the jar for us and excited for us to get them back. When you call Robert’s you’re going to get caring, compassionate service in an amazing facility. This will be the place that we will do all of our future Life Celebrations in the future.”
