Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

Everytime I visit my father I complain to myself about the lack of grass and abundance of dirt or mud and rocks or pebbles, but I quickly remind myself the City never promised me a rose garden, nor the greens from Augusta. My father was buried in October 1990, his headstone hasn't moved an inch, it isn't sinking or falling down. I owe that to the wonderful individuals who take care of the land and the management team who make everything runs smooth.”
