Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“The cemetery is absolutely beautiful. The thing that bothered me was I know they are a busy cemetery but service should not be a rushed thing. Families are going through a very difficult time, don't push them out after 10-15 minutes. Also the service Is Not The Time to tell the grieving spouse they before they leave you need to have them go over paperwork. It was a bit tasteless as the grieving spouse is setting there crying trying to deal with family in the 10-15 minutes allowed.”
