“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“my son's father passed November 13 he was a vet he wanted Weber when he passed November 13 I talked to megen I said I need help with his dd214 and want a military funeral my son gets flag and need a paster she said she can do that for 7 days they told me no word yet but they have contacted all thear leads and Megan got covid her new girl told me he can't have a military funeral Becouse he has a disonerble discharged. at funeral day no military funeral no paster and I was not to see him day before the funeral. her staff asked me 10.30am when my paster was to come I said I want my contract I told Megan I need one that I did not get the other stuff they said anything you want honey well I dident get anything I wanted just poems out of book I could of done that for free very sad and upsetting a nother funeral director helped me get dd214 and marker.flag.and money back for plack they lied all he did was call lehigh County easy and he's helping to get a grave military flag fold which Weber was saposta do better yet Megen did not give me a itemized list two weeks later they own me money back have not got a call back Am seeking legal help”
