Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”

“What's included vs. what's extra?”

Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, walk the winding lanes, and just take everything in. The grounds are very well kept for a cemetery of this age, and there’s a peaceful, respectful atmosphere. You can drive through slowly if you’re not able to walk much, but it’s also great for a quiet stroll and photography—there are countless beautiful angles with statues, ironwork, and mossy trees. It never felt “touristy”; it felt more like a historic park that just happens to be a cemetery. If you’re interested in history, old cemeteries, or just want a calm, reflective break from the busier parts of Charleston, Magnolia Cemetery is absolutely worth visiting.
