Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“People who work in the emergency room , specifically those at the front desk need to show understanding and consideration. They were rude to every family member who came to say good bye to my father. Even the two patient liason ladies were rude that the nurse even apologized on their behalf. For the one lady to say she is waiting to escort us to the lobby since we were not allowed to be there. I explained that we are here for the end of life and saying our goodbyes. I did not know that there was a time limit for something like that. The nurses and doctors were supportive and compassionate. But all of that was overshadowed by the the two women at patient check in and the two women from patient liaison. I recommend they think about if they are in the right field. Family going through something life shattering should not have to experience something like that. Vicki and Carolyn, if that is really your names since you had your badges on backwards, need to rethink how the treat the people who walk through those doors. If i could give 0 stars i would.”
