“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“The whole process of designing a memorial for my dad was perfect. Crystal was especially helpful and never once did I feel pressured in any capacity. The team took my sketch and turned it into a beautiful piece that will last forever. I also really appreciated the opportunity to watch the install team work today. They were so incredibly professional and kind. The funeral home actually marked the wrong site for install and this was pretty distressing. The HW install team didn’t skip a beat. They made sure it ended up in the right spot. I’m so thankful and happy with everything and know the whole Adloo family would give their five stars as well.”

“I want to express my deepest appreciation for the outstanding service I received during the installation of my brother’s headstone. Because I live in Seattle, I had to order everything over the phone, and they made the process so easy. They kept me updated every step of the way, always sending pictures and making sure I was comfortable with every detail. Their communication was truly exceptional—clear, patient, and always kind. They were always on time and made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted. They never grew tired of my questions and explained everything with care and understanding. Their professionalism and compassion made this difficult process so much easier for me and my family. We are extremely happy and grateful for their excellent work. Highly recommended!”
