“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“"TRUSTED" in your business name is extremely misleading considering you cant even keep track of loved ones ashes! I missed a call yesterday (1/27/26) to come pick up my dogs ashes which is extremely traumatizing, SINCE I ALREADY PICKED UP HER ASHES A MONTH BEFORE WHEN THEY CALLED ME THE FIRST TIME!!! I called this morning to talk to someone there and once I informed them I already picked up my dogs ashes they were apologetic. I was told it was a clerical error and this isn't the first time this has happened. I do not blame the person I spoke with. She seemed deeply sorry. HOWEVER the fact this happened before doesn't make any of this feel less icky or traumatic. How can I trust I even received my dogs ashes a month ago when I can't even trust they can manage their own systems? Even if they had offered a refund it wouldn't make this situation any better.
