Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“I’m writing this review because my family’s recent experience was deeply disappointing. When my brother was killed in a hit and run accident, he was sent to Davis Funeral Home from the corner without our knowledge. When we got there we were hoping for compassion and support. Instead, we found a lack of empathy at every turn. We were not allowed to see him AT ALL and we were told we WOULD NOT be able to view my brother’s body without an appointment, and it felt like we were being charged for every single request. This is an incredibly difficult time for any family, and the lack of compassion we experienced was really upsetting. I hope they consider how to treat grieving families with more care in the future. I would NOT recommend anyone going here for any services regarding their loved ones. Truly awful experience.”
