Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“If you are heading south on Cerrillos from outside Santa Fe, be sure to get some much needed rest. Just past Cordova on the right is a driveway. Turn in and park and read some history from the late 1880's. Visit some grave sites and wonder at the care taken to move many of these burials from another part of town. Since that time there was some neglect but lately the County and the Preservation Society have done an excellent job in cleaning up the landscaping. Also, if you can, drive around, or walk around, to the West side of this cemetery and view some older burials that are covered in weeds. All in all a good place to visit, though not much rest can be obtained here since it is right on the very busy Cerrillos Road.”
