“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“This is a horrible place to go for your loved one!! I agree with a previous review by Charlie H. We experienced the same thing. The funeral was an absolute nightmare and when we complained NO one would get in contact with us. Emily who was supposed to be there to handle the funeral was no where to be found once the services were rudely interrupted. They claim to help out in your time of grief but they cause more grief and stress!! I would never return to this funeral home again!! They are rude as hell!! They disrespected my father to the fullest extent!! The only time they contacted us was to say the death certificates were in and would we like them to be mailed or go pick them up. We called to pick them up but again got their voicemail. It took them a week to return our calls. They work with riverside national cemetery and the communications between them was also a nightmare!! We were told different things from both parties. Nothing was correct and the whole service was less then 15 min!! Heather, Emily, and McKays you should be ashamed of yourself!! Their way of trying to fix what happened at the funeral was to offer to redo the services. You ruined it already!! I would NOT recommend this place!!!!”
