“I will always recommend Phaneuf, from the bottom of my heart there isn’t enough words to express my gratitude for the kindness and care of the folks who work there. It’s taken me a bit to write this review, but In July my youngest son was born sleeping, we had used Phaneuf in Manchester before so they were an obvious choice. They worked predominantly with my parents on arrangements as they volunteered generously to handle the details. However they frequently reached out to my husband and I to make sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it. They texted both us and my stepdad as soon as they picked our son up from the hospital, and when they arrived at the funeral home. They took incredible care of him during this time. We opted not to do a traditional funeral however we did decide on cremation and for his ashes to be separated into several different keepsakes which they miraculously made work. The biggest of them was an urn which we had plans to have put inside of his lovey. The folks at Phaneuf went above and beyond and had an incredibly kind person who worked there who also happened to be a skilled seamstress help put his urn into the stuffed animal. I can’t begin to imagine the time and work she put into creating a pocket inside of the stuffed animal and meticulously sewing the urn in. When all was said and done, they not only didn’t charge us for cremation, but when we went to pickup his ashes, they had created a beautiful display in one of their rooms which they allowed us to stay in as long as we needed while we grieved. I am so incredibly grateful for Phaneuf and will ALWAYS recommend them”

“These folks did a fantastic job for my aunt's ceremony. They were kind, thoughtful and treated every aspect with the greatest respect. The younger man directing the services added a few personal details that really touched my heart.This was a tough time for my family, but the services that the Phaneuf team provided really made it feel like a celebration of life vs. a practice of mourning. “The entire experience with the staff at Paneuf at the Boscawen, NH was phenomenal. Everyone showed us so much compassion and care during what was a difficult time for our family. This was actually our sixth time using the Boscawen location when a loved one has passed and each time they have surpassed our expectations. Mandy Demarais was amazing to work with and provided us with everything we needed to put our loved ones to rest. She put all of us at ease and helped us make the best of a hard situation with her compassion and attention to detail. Patrick Barclay who assisted with the services and the cemetery burial was such a blessing with his unflappable demeanor and making sure that everything went without a hitch. Elizabeth followed up with us to offer her assistance with any support or help that we might need. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and our experience at Phaneuf.
