Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

Bear in mind that there are single individuals that go to their church as well. And they do have a few things for them, but once you’re past the age of 33 AND divorced, it’s like you’re not seen at all. They don’t have ANYTHING for people like that. When I first started going to this church, I was married. But after my divorce, it’s like I fell through the cracks. I still attend because of the sound teaching, but yeah, that’s about it.
