“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“From beginning to end. Wonderful service by all staff members we came in contact with. We were treated with the up most respect, and felt very confident that everything would be done as we requested and it was. Communication was great, anything we needed, or wanted done was promptly attended to. The funeral home itself is beautiful, clean and has plenty of room. I had friends who had never been there comment on how nice it was. We had the service at our very small church with very little parking and Mr. Ponders made sure everything went smoothly with parking was not a problem he was very calm and collected. Jason took my momma by the arm and helped her every step of the way. Jason is also the one who came out to get my Daddy, he was very caring, respectful and considerate of us and our feelings.
