Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“First of all, if you’re reading this review. I’m sorry for your loss, but you will be in great hands! This was one of the hardest moments in our lives. However, they showed us compassion at all times. This didn’t feel transactional whatsoever. My mom and I were crying most of the time while we were picking out the packages and we didn’t feel rushed at all and Alan made sure to explain everything in Spanish to my mom and me in English so we both equally understood what was going on. Their communication was impeccable. We chose a package that included a trasladó. This is perfect because they handled all the paperwork necessary to do that.
