Planning a service for my 29-year-old sister was incredibly emotional, but Jennifer guided us through every step with patience and grace. What stood out most was her incredible attention to detail. She cared about every small thing that mattered to us—from making sure the décor and setup were exactly as we envisioned, to asking thoughtful questions about how my sister parted her hair, what her nails should look like, and the dress details that would best reflect her. Jennifer was also unbelievably responsive and supportive. Our family sent many texts and emails throughout the process, and she answered every one with patience and reassurance. The service itself was beautiful—everyone who attended said it was one of the most meaningful and thoughtfully done funerals they had ever been to. We were able to display so many photos and personal items, including her awards, teddy bears, and framed memories in the hallway, which made the entire space feel like a true celebration of her life. “The staff are very kind and let the family be as involved as they feel they need to be in order for the grief process to start in a healthy way. Danny Tena set the contract in place for both of my parents and was always compassionate and caring. All prices were upfront. Nothing was hidden, and everything was explained in detail. The mortuary also is there for families after a loved one has been laid to rest. They contract with grief counselors for the family and friends that are available 24/7. They make sure that the grounds are kept clean and markers are maintained at the families request. Dying is very expensive, stressful, and so very painful but the survivors don’t have to do it alone.
