Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

Whoever the lady was that answer the phone told me she would have the funeral director call me back. I did not get a call back. Instead a call was made to a family member to tell on me, as if I did something wrong. I called to get information regarding my grandmother homegoing services, but was treated as if I wasn't allowed to call or get any information. Basically, I was treated as a child and was not allowed to get any information regarding my grandmother's funeral services. I'm not a child and I don’t like my intelligence being challenged.
