“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
“Do you offer payment plans?”
Many funeral homes allow you to spread the cost over time. Ask about down payments, terms, and financing options.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

It was a hat, the jacket and the pants and they stole it. The owner is very disrespectful very money hungry he’s very greedy if you don’t have the money right there and then he’s not trying to at least Give you a break so you could come up with the rest of the money I would never ever go there again for any more viewings after they stole my mother‘s clothes that I brought there for them to put it on her they should be a shame of their self with all the money that they make They are not nice to work with you. They are the worst people don’t have no viewing for any of your family they’re going to steal their clothes, very disrespectful and they don’t help out in any kind of way if you don’t have all the money even if they have to wait they will charge you a extra thousand or two if you don’t have the money on time those people are garbage. I’m very upset. My mother got disrespected they stole her chef suit.”
