Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

Chapel) enough for helping us through an experience that we were unprepared to manage, emotionally or logistically. We never felt pressured or rushed. We felt that explanations of the things that needed to be accomplished - and things that were optional - were given clearly, taking the time to answer our numerous questions. We knew what various options meant, and what they would cost, before we made our decisions. All the while, we felt treated with compassion, respect, and understanding. They were open to our wishes for a simple, perhaps unconventional memorial celebration. Some of our friends and family commented that it was the nicest event of that nature they'd ever attended. The facilities and decor are pleasant. There is a nice area in the back where we could refresh ourselves as neeeded during the visitation. Among the outstanding staff who helped us were Lisa, Monica, and Michelle, but there were others whose names I unfortunately cannot recall who were just as gracious and helpful; all the staff were great.
