“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

But these things happen, and thank god Ms.Alonia was there for my family, my mom’s dog was hit by a car and tragically passed away. Ms.Alonia met me at the funeral home to take our dog, our family member into her care. From the obituary, to receiving our dogs cremains back. She treats everyone and every pet with complete respect and dignity. She kept in touch daily with us making sure we were okay, making sure we didn’t have any questions, and MOST importantly we knew everything that was happening and when it was happening. Even checking up on us after. There are not words to describe how amazing this women is. My family and I thank her so much. They even hold a tissue box for you when you need it!! This is just the beginning. Everything is dealt with in a caring and sensitive manner. Alonia's care team even came to our home at 3:00 A.M.!!! They literally work 24/7. "Someone" added a huge bouquet of flowers to my brother's grave. I don't know how Alonia makes any money!!
