“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“My step dad passed away doing the beginning of the pandemic and wasn’t able to have a funeral. Only 10 was allowed to view him through a glass and he was tested negative for it. I thought the same thing will happen to my father, which also tested negative. They allowed us to have a funeral of 50 people inside the building and more can come but they’ll have to rotate. We went over by 5 not thinking babies was counted and they let us all stay without rotation. When it ended they didn’t rush us to leave, we knew the time we had to leave. His funeral was beautiful and he looked like he was sleeping. They did a wonderful job. Anthony was easy to reach and he reply same day. My father thank you cards was perfect.
