“Can I see your General Price List?”
Federal law (FTC Funeral Rule) requires them to give you itemized pricing. You have every right to ask.
“Do you accept insurance assignment?”
Ask whether assignment is available for your policy and location, what fees apply, and what you must pay upfront. MedaSynq does not arrange assignments.
“What's included vs. what's extra?”
Packages may not include everything. Ask about the casket, embalming, transportation, facility fees, and death certificate copies.
Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“I have been a member for years. I also made my mother and sister members. My mother was only a member for a couple of days when she past on and my sister only a couple of months. At the time the Funeral Home that they where affiliated with was Adair and they were very helpful and kind. You have to use the facility that FCAAZ is affiliated with. I would recommend you ask about who they are affiliated with and if that fits your needs. I did just a cremation for both of them as that is what they wanted. So FCAAZ worked for me and I surly thank them as I am sending off my renewal.”

Prices posted for consumers are not current and by FTC regulation are subject to change without notice. They have listed Doug Mostyn as owner of Abbey in Tucson, AZ for over 3 years when it has always been owned by the Krotenberg family. Just one example of their lies. I think a class action lawsuit should be filed to shut these liars down since the State Funeral Board ignores their dissemination of lies inaccurate pricing and preferential referrals to paying funeral homes. Scumbags.”

“Do not use them, my parents paid for years. After they died we were told can't use the family funeral home. So we paid for years and couldn't use it family place of worship? Ok so I paid everything out of pocket. I bring it up to their v attention and Mary Clare just over talked me and was rude the entire time. "What you paid benefited the alliance and other consumers" well I didn't bury the alliance I buried my parents. Worthless item and service and staff unless you just want a cheap cremation at a hold on the wall chapel. Disgusting these people are in their approach.”
