Know Your Rights
Under the FTC Funeral Rule, funeral homes must give price information by telephone and a written General Price List when you visit in person. Federal law does not require them to send the list by mail or email. You can select individual goods and services and use a casket purchased elsewhere.

“I had a relative that we used for funeral services but she passed away so we contacted a friend, Phazell Gray who used to work at Lockwood Funeral home. I made the right decision as she made sure that when my husband was picked up from the hospital that he was treated with grace and care. I met with Mr. Jones and Mrs. Gray (works at the corporate office) came to help me make arrangements. He was very patient and allowed me to calm down when I was overwhelmed and anxious.
